From our Website www.pentlandlivestock.co.uk choose ONLINE AUCTION from the Menu. This opens up Auction Marts webpage and Choose Login/Register from the Menu and Follow the Instructions to Register. Once your details are complete it will send you a verification email to confirm that your email is correct and then that is you ready to Log In.
If you have used Auction Marts before with another Auctionerring Company then please select Auctioneers from the Auction marts Menu and search for Pentland Auctions - Once our box comes up choose Register with Auctioneer.

Collection by Customers. We just don't have the space to store these items and we can not be held responsible for these items that have been sitting for so long. To enable future sales to be set up we are needing things moved ASAP. We try to accomodate as best we can customer circumstances and appreciate we are all busy but if you are someone who has something waiting on collection please contact the Office Tel: 01356 647391 or Davie on Tel: 07710 561 944 ASAP to get this arranged, otherwise we are going to have to look at charging for items to be stored.
NEW FOR 2024 :- Unfortunately a small percentage of our customers seem to think its alright to use our premises as a long term storage unit, due to the volume of lots we are processing this can not continue through 2024 we will therefore introduce a storage charge for items not uplifted within 14 days of the conclusion of an auction. We have had a few Auctions to date this year and unfortunately we still have a number of Items in our yard waiting on collection.

BIDDING TIPS
- We recommend that you place your maximum bid at the earliest opportunity.
- If two bidders place the same maximum bid then the first one to place that maximum bid will win the lot.
- When you place your maximum bid it does not necessarily mean that you will pay that maximum figure. If a lot has not met its reserve and you place your maximum bid at £1,000 and the reserve is £750 then your current bid will be £750. Only you can see your maximum bid.
- If somebody else places a maximum bid of £750 and, for example, the increments are set at £100, then your current bid will automatically jump to £850 . If somebody continues to bid against you, then your bidding will continue automatically until it reaches your maximum bid.
- The bidding will occur automatically – no last-minute panics if your internet connection is lost!
- Bids can also be manually placed in increments.
- The colour of the lots you are bidding on will indicate your position:

Green – Reserve met; you are the highest bidder
Amber - You are highest bidder. But reserve not met. You will need to bid above the reserve if you want to win the lot.
Red - You've been outbid. You will need to bid higher if you want to win the lot.
